From New York take route 95 north to route 138 east

From the Boston area take route 128, to route 24 south to route 138, stay in left hand lane to route 138A, Follow signs to Newport, stay in the left lane as you approach Thames Street from Memorial. Take the left onto Thames, Fair is an immediate left.

From the Newport bridges

Then follow the signs to downtown Newport, which will bring you in on America’s Cup Avenue, the water will Be on your right, stay in the right lane. America’s Cup will merge with Thames. At this intersection there is a three story brick building, with a large red parrot on it. This is the Red Parrot Restaurant, which sits on Fair Street, so as soon as you pass the front door take the left onto Fair Street, and pull into the parking area between 10 Fair Street and 20 Fair Street, then check in at 28 Fair Street.
