Wayne & Denise began inn keeping at the Fair Street Guest in 2003. In 2004 they placed a journal in each room, below is a small sampling Of the entries from the journal located in room A

’Yesterday we arrived here around 3pm, and were given our choice two rooms. We chose room A in the main house because of its quaint and cozy charm. Our Names are Rick & Amy and we got engaged in this room last night. It was a Beautiful and romantic evening that we will never forget. We plan to return because We feel this is our place now. ’Wayne & Denise, This is my first time in Newport! A very beautiful place I must say. I had a most wonderful weekend. Your B&B is charming, romantic, & quaint! You two are gracious Host & Hostess’s! ’Denise & Wayne, We have never stayed in a B&B before as we felt it was not quite our thing. At the Recommendation from our daughter, who has stayed here with friends, we decided To try your place.
